Job Description

This engineer will work under the direction of the DCE DW/BI Data Architect and in partnership with the SW Developer to deliver a data warehouse solution to enable business partners to report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and critical business metrics to business sponsors and stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• (Critical) Python programming skills toward data ETL.
• (Critical) Advance SQL Querying.
• Understanding of the concept of Views, functions, store procedures, triggers, etc.
• Understanding of Data analysis
• Understanding of relational DB, especially PostgreSQL.
• Technical proficiency regarding data models and segmentation.
• Experience modeling structure and unstructured data.

Nice To Have Skills

• Proven DATAIKU developer skills
• Hadoop platform understanding.
• Spark
• HDFS etc

Soft Skills

• Excellent intercommunication skills.
• Team-working skills
• The ability to be able to work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
